Potencial
The potential System consists of a stat board that can be filled with stat blocks. You can access this system by pressing V in game and going to the third tab as shown below. By paying 5,000 or 50,000 bits you can roll for random blocks that can have from 1 to 4% in any given stat. The limit for this system without paying for premium items is 64% of investment in a single stat ( 16 blocks of 4%). Below is the page for PVE stats that has stats you can roll for and books to be inserted, but there is also the fourth and last stat tab that houses ranked PVP stats, which are locked to 3% stats and make ranked pvp fair and fun to play.

The stat blocks can be differentiated by the following colors :
RED: STR
BLUE: INT
GREEN: SPD
YELLOW: DEF
PURPLE: RES
BLACK: CRIT RATE
WHITE: EVASION RATE
ORANGE: CHAIN SKILL

Every digimon starts with 4 blocks unlocked and more slots can be unlocked by paying potential pieces:
Top Left: Starts unlocked.
Top right: 50 Potential Pieces. Can be unlocked as soon as level 1.
Bottom right: 200 Potential Pieces. Can be unlocked as soon as you evolve to Adult/Champion level.
Lower Left: 450 Potential Pieces. Can be unlocked as soon as you evolve to Perfect/Ultimate level.

Ultimate potential
Recently added to the game, the Ultimate Potential System allows the player to further increase their stats from the stat board. To unlock it you will need the following item:
10 Ultimate potential are required to unlock the extra stone slot for EACH digimon that joins this system. This item can be traded, or crafted using 2 recipes that requires crafting level 135 to unlock and can be exchanged at Tentomon, the RIFT exchange NPC using green datas. There are 2 versions of this recipe, one bound and one tradeable, but both require 200 Potential Pieces and 2 green zero units.
After the slot is unlocked, the player can now add Ultimate Potential 4 stones to their digimon. these stones work on the following way:
If the stone's stat board matches with any stat in the digimon's own stat board, that stat will gain an extra 1% stats and become stronger. You can currently drop these stones by doing Area A Rifts ( Dropped in odaiba part 2 maps) or exchange once per week on biyomon NPC(OFD exchange) for red datas. Additionally these stones can be dismantled and used on the Mystimon NPC to reroll completely or change a single stat from the stone's board.
